Hi Sonia,

Here's a good starting point for you that I found on the web - http://www.oxnard.beecarespecialist.com/

If you contact these people, let them know that you are interested in hosting a hive in your backyard and hopefully they will know someone in the Oxnard area doing the same thing as me. Unfortunately, I do not know anyone in that area myself.

Thank you for doing your best to save the bees.

I have a two story home in Oxnard. There was a swarm of bees and they were coming into the house somehow. After several months and getting stung
I finally called pest control. I did not know how to relocate them. I tried to find solutions on the internet. I wish I had seen your blog before I took drastic measure.. My question is, how do I get the bees to return so they can pollinate my vegetable and flower gardens? I am afraid My house will be tagged, and not come around anymore. Do they send eachother signals not to pollinate that particular house? I know this sounds crazy, but I like your solution best. To provide another part of the hone. Preferably outside. Not in the house. I never did find out where the beehive was located.

Great Granddad Bob would applaud the work that Andrew has undertaken to help preserve the Honey Bee. We would travel to Wisconsin each fall to get our years supply of Honey. We lived in a Chicago suburb at the time.
Thank you Andrew for caring
