We just wrapped of the 2011 SOL Food Festival in Santa Barbara. With predictions of rain, a gloomy economy and a weekend full of events around the city, we were a bit nervous.
Well, we didn’t need to be. Almost 7,000 people turned out to watch 3 stages of workshops, 3 of the 6 food vendors sold out, the art and education was awesome and the weather was PERFECT.
The SOL Food planning team, staff and volunteers were on top of their game and the Festival was quite and inspiring experience. Much to improve on, more great ideas already for the new year.
